Tree stones are small trees encased in glass and shaped like polished stones. Pocket trees are trees encased in glass that you can keep in your pocket. There is a bit of a category overlap between tree stones and pocket trees. The point is that these items are small and kind of like little polished stones. They are easy to carry, pleasing to fidget with, and usually less expensive then marbles or paperweights.
